Please indicate your available honorarium amount for the speaker, designated in U.S. dollars. Note that speakers are often willing to work with events on honorarium amounts, but knowing an estimate up front helps our speakers make decisions about time away from work, family and ministry to invest in ministry to your organization. Note that an honorarium is separate from and in addition to travel expenses. If you are working with a budget limit inclusive of travel and honorarium, please indicate that accordingly.

If traveling by air, the FYI speaker will book and ticket their own round-trip flights. FYI will submit to the sponsoring organization an invoice for the airfare costs, which will be reimbursed to FYI or the individual speaker.

The sponsoring organization agrees to provide ground transportation for the FYI speaker to and from the airport or train station, hotel, and the location of the event. If the FYI speaker is traveling by auto, their auto expenses (and any associated tolls) will be paid by the sponsoring organization at the current U.S. mileage rate. If the FYI speaker requires travel by any other means (rental car, train, bus, taxi, etc.) the sponsoring organization will provide reimbursement for those as well.

The sponsoring organization will provide and/or pay for lodging and meals for the FYI speaker during the event. These may be provided directly by the sponsoring organization or reimbursed upon notification of such expenses. Unless otherwise agreed upon, lodging will consist of a clean non-smoking hotel room, single occupancy.

Upon booking, the sponsoring organization will be asked to submit a deposit of $250. Deposit is not refundable if sponsoring organization must cancel the engagement for any reason.*

Cancellation of this event by sponsoring organization less than 90 days from date of engagement will result in the loss of deposit and an additional cancellation fee of $250. If sponsoring organization cancels event, the sponsoring organization must also reimburse FYI or speaker for any travel (i.e. purchased airline tickets, etc.) and other expenses that FYI or speaker has already incurred for the particular event.

*Excludes cancellations due to inclement weather, illness or family emergencies of FYI speaker, acts of God, government regulation, disaster, strikes, civil disorder, or breakdown in travel services.

The sponsoring organization agrees to provide any AV equipment required to perform the requested service.

IMPORTANT TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS: FYI SPEAKERS NEED TO BE ABLE TO PLACE AND USE THEIR PRESENTATION LAPTOP AT THEIR SIDE THROUGHOUT THE SEMINAR UNLESS OTHER ARRANGEMENTS ARE MADE IN ADVANCE. PLEASE HAVE YOUR TECHNICAL STAFF MAKE THE NECESSARY ARRANGEMENTS, INCLUDING HAVING A VGA CABLE AND SOUND CORDS AT THE PODIUM.

Recording of the FYI presentation, video or audio, is generally prohibited solely for reasons related to liability issues.
